With these two devices, the company will be introducing the new 18:9 displays in the affordable Redmi series. The Redmi Note 5 is mentioned to come with a 5.65-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1090 pixels) display.

 The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has been in the leaks from last few weeks. Today, the TENAA listings of a new Xiaomi smartphone with the model numbers MET7 & MEE7 are spotted on online. As of now, only the device images are added in the listing. Though there is no confirmation, the device is expected to be the upcoming Redmi Note 5. It comes in Black and Gold+White color options. The smartphone comes with a unibody metal design with curved edges on the rear.
On the front of the device is the 18:9 display that might offer Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Even with the longer display ratio, the bezels of this device are considerably thicker than other similar devices. Both the volume rocker and power button are placed on the right edge of the device. On the left edge, we can spot the hybrid SIM slot where the user can add two SIM cards or one SIM and one MicroSD.

 While the rumors suggested the Redmi Note 5 to sport dual camera setup on the rear, we can spot only a single sensor. Like the second major Xiaomi smartphone, the microSD card slot is not available on Mi Mix 2 for storage expansion. Unlike the original Mi Mix, MI Mix 2 3.5mm audio jack is missing.
