While the earpiece in the top bezel is a part of the front camera and sensor, the bigger floor Bezal plays only a physical home button that can also come with an integrated fingerprint sensor. A 3:2 aspect ratio was introduced with the launch of the BlackBerry Keyone 4.5-inch display in the first half of 2017. Now, the upcoming BlackBerry Motion can offer a regular 16:9 aspect ratio while other manufacturers are launching smartphones with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
On the right edge of the device, we can see the volume rocker and the power button. Unlike the Blackberry Keyone, the customizable Blackberry feature key with texted finish is also located on the right edge of the device. Although there is no exact launch date, it is expected to be officially launched in the month of October. Based on the first leak, the device will be certified IP67 which means that it is water and dust resistant.
The display will come with full HD (1920 x 1080p). Under the hood, this will be powered by the Snapdragon 625/626 octa-core processor. The device packs an internal storage of 4GB RAM and 64GB. Since Android Oreo has already been released, this device can come out of the Android 8.0 Oreo box. At the top of Android, the device will also include BlackBerry services like DTEK and Blackberry Hub.
It supports a 4,000 mAh battery and can also support quick charging. Like Blackberry Keyone, Motion will be manufactured by China-based TCL and will accept the Indian sub-continent and Indonesia globally.
