Yesterday, Google and HTC signed $1.1 billion worth of agreements and the HTC team working on Google Pixel devices will now officially join Google. Now, we have got some important information about the flagship smartphone coming from HTC. In the next few weeks, HTC has launched HTC U11 Plus, which will be the successor to launch HTC U11. This new device comes with codename Ocean Master. Last month, some leaks revealed that a new smartphone was named as the codenamed as ocean life, which is the mid-range HTC U11 Life.
Talking about HTC U11 Plus, this device will present 18:9 display before HTC. Samsung and LG first offer such a long aspect ratio. Next month, Google and Huawei will bring their latest smartphone with 18:9 displays. HTC U11 Plus will also offer high screen-to-body ratio with slim bezel. If you have to believe in rumors, then you can sport U11 plus 5.99 inches display quad HD + resolution. With the presence on this device, the squeezable "Edge Sense" feature and the user can squeeze the frame to reach certain features.
As seen on the original HTC U11, the new U11 Plus will also be powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 built on a 10nm FinFET process. It will be available in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 64GB and 128GB storage options.In the camera department, the smartphone might offer a 12MP camera on the rear and an 8MP camera on the front. This device will also come with IP68 authentication, so that it will be water and dust resistant. We hope this tool will come with the latest Android 8.0 Orao based Sense UI out of the box.
Although there is no information about battery capacity, it has been mentioned to support Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 Fast Charging Technology. HTC will also lose U11 plus 3.5mm audio port and users can simply add their headset via USB Type-C port. Talking about availability, HTC U11 Plus is expected to launch in China in November and there are fewer possibilities for viewing this device in western markets.
