NEW DELHI: According to data released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai), Reliance Jio has recorded the highest number of services as the 4G service provider in June.
According to the Trai test results, Bharti Airtel's average 4G download speed was the lowest at 8.91 Mbps. According to the tests conducted by private broadband speed measurement firms, the company is claiming to be the fastest 4G service provider.
At the end of June, the average speed of Reliance Jio decreased from 19.12 Mbps to 18.65 Mbps. Despite this, Jio's download speed was about 68% faster than its closest competitor Vodafone.
Jio is recording high speed for the past seven months.Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) collects and collects data download speed with the help of its MySpeed application on real-time basis.
According to the TRAI test, Vodafone recorded an average download speed of 11.07 Mbps at the end of June. After this, Idea Cellular recorded the average download speed of 9.46 Mbps and Airtel at 8.91 Mbps at the end of June.
The speed data of 4G mobile operators was not published.
Vodafone is at the top of the chart with an average download speed of 5.16 Mbps in the 3G segment, followed by Airtel at 3.56 Mbps, Idea 2.94 Mbps, Aircel 2.3 9 Mbps and BSNL at 1.65 Mbps.
